❓ Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about how AI Game Universe works. Still curious? Ask in Advice.
What is AI Game Universe?
AI Game Universe is a free community for people who make games with AI tools. You post your game, playtest other makers' games, and earn credits for useful feedback. You spend those credits to boost your own game so more testers see it.
Is it free?
Yes. Joining is free, and new members get 10 starter credits to spend on getting their game tested.
How do credits work?
You earn 5 credits for each real piece of playtest feedback you give, plus a bonus when the developer marks it as helpful. In Advice, your first answer to a question earns 1 credit, and an answer picked as best earns 3. A guide you write earns 5 credits once when it reaches 5 upvotes. You spend credits to boost your game up the testing queue.
What kinds of games can I post?
Games for iOS, Android, the web, PC or Mac. Share a TestFlight, App Store, Google Play, itch.io or web link with a few screenshots. Unfinished games are welcome: mark yours as a work in progress and keep a devlog.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Many members build games by describing what they want to an AI chat or AI code editor. The guide 'Build your first game with AI' walks through it step by step.
What makes good playtest feedback?
Say what you liked, what broke or confused you, and one thing you'd change. Specific notes like 'I didn't notice the jump button on the first level' help far more than 'it's good'.
What are Guides?
Step-by-step guides written by members, with a checklist you can tick off as you go. Your progress is saved to your account. Any member can write a guide.
What is the Founding Member badge?
The first 100 members to join get a Founding Member badge on their profile, along with bonus credits.
Can I upvote my own posts?
No. You can't upvote your own questions, answers or guides, and each person can upvote something only once.
